WHEN THEY CAN'T SMOKE GIVE THEM SOMETHING TO EAT

Moffat's Focus Hot Tops provide a perfect easy serving station with no messing

For publicans, as the Smoking Ban comes into force in July, food will be a key way to boost sales and attract customers. A sumptious display of "home-cooked" hot food is a sure way to encourage casual customers to spend a bit more time and money in the bar and take their minds off smoking. And for those who just can't give up, the option is to offer outside dining facilities. All in all there is going to be an increased demand for food.

Not all premises can afford extensive refits to cope with serving more food over longer periods of time. But a simple way of keeping cooked food piping hot and ready to serve without the need for massive investment is a Moffat Focus hot top.

At only 425mm long and 555mm deep the smallest Moffat hot top can stand on any suitable free surface to create an instant serving station. The larger models can be fitted with an overhead heated/illuminated gantry to keep the food at a perfect serving temperature for long periods and display the dishes to their best advantage.

Manufactured from bright polished stainless steel, the Focus hot tops have toughened glass, built-in thermo-panel elements to guarantee even distribution heat over the whole serving area. The quartz heated/illuminated gantry directs heat down onto the food to minimise heat loss. The built-in heating elements automatically keep the temperature of the food between 70 - 90 degrees C.

Moffat offers a wide variety of accessories for the Focus hot tops including chip dump, bain marie adaptor, bag holder and carving plate. The Focus hot tops are available in four models - the one panel FT1, the two panel FTG2, the three panel FTG3, and the four panel FTG4 with power ratings from 0.2 to 1.2kWatt respectively.
