RADICAL MEALS ON WHEELS SYSTEM WINS NACC INNOVATION AWARD

Moffat's Van Gen, developed with Monmouthshire County Council, offers economic solution that enhances food quality.

A radical new meals on wheels system has won the National Association of Care Catering (NACC) Achievement or Innovation Award 2011. Van Gen, which was developed by Moffat Catering Equipment, was nominated for the award by Monmouthshire County Council's Community Meals Service.

Equipment suppliers need to come clean on delivery charges, says UK manufacturer

British manufacturer E&R Moffat has called on the catering equipment industry to sort out the issue of delivery charges. "Pricing needs to be transparent, especially in the current economic climate," says Moffat sales director John Wannan. "Catering equipment buyers need to be told from the outset whether they will be charged for delivery, and what those charges are.
