Top Marks For V-Gen For Small Schools: Moffat's Mobile Oven Answers Needs Of Proposed School Premises Regulations

British catering equipment manufacturer E & R Moffat says its V-Gen trolley is the answer to the problem of smaller schools with limited or no kitchen facilities who need to cook on site. The V-Gen is a mobile oven and a food servery unit in one. But what makes it especially useful for schools is that it can be used to both regen chilled meals, brought in from central production kitchens (in a 'hub and spoke' system), and to cook food from fresh.

Pembrokeshire's leading hospital is one of the first to adopt new dual-temperature Moffat Single Tray system for faster, enhanced ward-level food service

Hospital catering is set to change radically in the near future as the advantages of single-tray service become evident. One hospital leading the way is Withybush General, in Haverford West, Pembrokeshire. The 300-bed hospital, run by Hywel Dda NHS Trust, had been using an old pellet-based trolley system for some years, but it was getting to the end of its serviceable life.
